Storeden allows you to customize the gift cards that customers can purchase for their friends and / or relatives.
- SETTINGS AND GIFT CARD CREATION - BACK OFFICE
To set up gift cards you need to enter the Marketing >> Gift Card section:
Here you can do several actions:
- Using the "Add Gift Card" button, you can configure a new gift card to use.
In the Gift Card Name field, enter the Gift Card's internal denomination recognition name. Credit value indicates the amount of credit that will be assigned to the customer registering the gift card code. Gift card price is the total price that the user will pay to get the gift card.
- Using the Overview button, you can see the summary of all the gift card created.
- Using the Settings button, you can change and set the image of your gift card.
In the column Redeem/Purchased you can see the number of gift cards that have been purchased and the number of gift cards redeemed.
2. GIFT CARD VISUALIZATION - FRONT END
The gift cards set into the control panel are visible in the frontend at the url /giftcard. (e.g. www.your-store-com/giftcard). You can set this url into the principal menu through the use of a custom menu.

3. GIFT CARD REDEMPTION
Once the gift card has been bought, the user that will receive it, should redeem the value via email, by clicking on “Redeem gift card” button into the email. Then he/she will be addressed to his/her account and has to click on the button"Add to your account" for adding the gift card value.
4. USE AND PAYMENT VIA GIFT CARD
For orders paid with a gift card, in the order summary is indicated Payment Method: gift card. If gift card plafond is not sufficient to cover the entire amount of the order, you will be asked to choose a payment method to successfully complete the order:
Then in the order detail (into the backoffice) it is indicated that the checkout is partial so "partialgiftcard".
5. EMAIL TEMPLATE SETTINGS
Finally, you can customize the email templates that are sent to the customer when purchasing the gift card. To change your email templates, go to the Settings >> Template Emails section:
